Optimost spurs sale of Business Plan Pro by 41%.
Founded in 1988, Palo Alto Software is the leading provider of software offering task-oriented “know-how” solutions for entrepreneurs, professionals, and middle managers. It has been a category leader for several years, outselling all of its competitors combined.
Palo Alto Software brought in Optimost, as the team wanted to improve the conversion rate for visitors to the Business Plan Pro landing page, and therefore generate substantially more sales for Business Plan Pro, which is Palo Alto’s flagship product.
Optimost identified 11 different elements on the page to test, including the top layout, top images, product description area, submit button, and the layout at the bottom of the page. With the various different “values” for each of those variables, there were 41,472,000 possible permutations of the landing page, all of which could be generated by Optimost.
Through a series of experimental “waves,” Optimost determined a winning creative that improved sales by 41%! This translated into hundreds of thousands of dollars in incremental revenue annually, which was only from a few months work. There is virtually an unlimited potential for continual improvement and optimization!
