Mark Wachen, Chief Executive Officer

Mark Wachen is the co-founder and CEO of Optimost, and he has personally seen more website optimization experiments than anyone on the planet. Prior to Optimost, Wachen worked for seven years at Sony, overseeing a wide variety of Internet initiatives. Wachen was CEO of Indimi (Internet Direct Marketing Intelligence, Inc.), a company majority-owned by Sony. In this role, he spearheaded the acquisitions of InfoBeat, AdTools, and DailyRating. Under his management, InfoBeat grew from 2 million to 8 million subscribers, and was later sold to Euniverse. Prior to Indimi, Wachen was Vice President of Online Ventures for Sony Music, where he spearheaded many online initiatives, including Sony Music's investments in Spinner (acquired by AOL for $300 million), and the launch of the Sony Music Online Website in 1994. Wachen graduated summa cum laude from Dartmouth College and has an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Lance Lovette, Chief Technical Officer

Lance Lovette is the co-founder of Optimost and chief architect of the most sophisticated and flexible solution in the industry. Prior to Optimost, Lovette was a Vice President at Indimi (Internet Direct Marketing Intelligence, Inc.), a company majority-owned by Sony. He was previously a co-founder of DailyRating, an online journal service that he single-handedly built (he later sold DailyRating to Indimi). Lovette is a renowned computer programmer, whose previous employers include Ziff-Davis and AuctionRover (acquired by Overture Services). While at Ziff Davis, Lovette authored the well-regarded WinBench software solution. Lovette is also the author of several books including Developing Professional Applications in Windows 98 and NT Using MFC (Prentice-Hall). Lovette graduated summa cum laude from North Carolina State University.

Seth Rosenblatt, Vice President of Marketing and Business Development

Seth Rosenblatt manages the company’s West Coast office and leads its marketing and partnership initiatives. Prior to Optimost, Rosenblatt ran his own consulting business helping technology and media firms in strategic planning, business development, and mergers & acquisitions. He has also held executive positions at a number of companies, including serving as the Vice President of Business Development for MediaLive International, spearheading the company’s acquisitions and new product launches. He also ran a number of technology start-ups, including being the President of Pocket.com, a mobile e-mail and information service provider, and he was the COO of Bluefish Wireless, a mobile software provider. Prior to that, Rosenblatt was the Chief Technology Officer of Ziff-Davis Events, and also held the positions of Vice President of Web Operations and Vice President of Strategic Planning. Earlier in his career, Rosenblatt worked in corporate finance at Lehman Brothers. Rosenblatt received a BA from Dartmouth College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Scott Simonelli, Vice President of Marketing Solutions

Scott Simonelli leads the company’s client acquisition team, provides strategic guidance and manages relationships with many of Optimost’s blue-chip clients. Prior to Optimost, Simonelli was Director of Sales at Indimi (Internet Direct Marketing Intelligence, Inc.), a company majority-owned by Sony. In this role, Simonelli focused on the AdTools desktop marketing products and forged relationships with Fortune 500 companies including Coca Cola, General Electric, and Pfizer. Previously, he worked at Boosey & Hawkes, the largest classical music publishing company in the world, where he was responsible for developing new sales channels by leveraging the Internet, new technologies, and strategic partnerships. Simonelli graduated summa cum laude from The Catholic University America. An avid musician and composer Simonelli holds a degree in Instrumental Music Education and Composition.

Andrew Eisner, Vice President of Client Services

Andrew Eisner runs Optimost’s client services group, leading the most experienced team in the industry. Prior to Optimost, Eisner was the president of Retail Internet Ventures, LLC, a chain of franchised Internet cafes. In that role, he oversaw sales, marketing, operations and finance, doubled the units in the market and grew sales by 35+% year-over-year. He also managed the acquisition of a number of existing locations in the US from a European entity. Previously, Eisner was an executive at easyGroup, a UK-based business incubator spun out of easyJet, Europe’s largest discount airline, where he was responsible for evaluating new investment opportunities and developing new business models. He has also worked at a number of start-ups, and has been a professional business plan consultant. Eisner started his career at American Express, working in strategic, product development and client management roles. He received a BA with High Honors from Wesleyan University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Greg Kelton, Managing Director, EMEA

Greg Kelton is responsible for Optimost operations across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Prior to Optimost, Kelton spent four years at Coremetrics launching and growing the European division as Director of Business Development and Client Services, and growing US sales as Director of Solution Sales. In that role, he oversaw sales, marketing, operations and finance, and he doubled the units in the market and grew sales by 35+% year-over-year. Kelton also served in Product Management and Channel Sales roles at Kenamea and held Product Marketing and Corporate Development roles at Octane Software (acquired by E.piphany). Previously, Kelton served as Channel Sales and Solutions Consultant for Siebel Systems (acquired by Oracle) and co-founded Open Environment Corporation (OEC), where he held various leadership roles guiding the company to an IPO and eventual acquisition by Borland Software. Prior to OEC, Kelton provided Open Systems consulting to Fortune 500 companies with Cambridge Technology Partners. Kelton received his BS in Computer Science with Honors from Northeastern University and his MBA from Georgetown University.
