Web Developer/Solutions Engineer

Location: New York City, NY

We are currently seeking 3 Web Developer/Solutions Engineers for our New York City office. In this role you will be responsible for constructing the subject templates that drive our testing process, and integrating all necessary functionality. As part of that process, you will need to debug the web pages visually and functionally - this is an engineering/programming position, not an aesthetic design position. You will have high levels of interaction with both technical and non-technical personnel in addition to working both independently and in a team environment. You will work closely with Optimost account managers and analysts to deliver solutions to our clients.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of web programming
• Strong background in client-side programming and a thorough understanding of Web technologies such as HTML, DHTML, CSS, and JavaScript is required; experience with XML is a plus
• Experience and proficiency in debugging web pages
• Familiarity with one or more back-end programming languages, such as PHP and ASP is preferred
• Proficiency with Fireworks, Photoshop, and Flash is a plus
• Excellent interpersonal skills coupled with exceptional organizational skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering or CS preferred, but programming ability trumps a degree
