Quality Assurance Engineer

Location: New York City, NY

We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to work directly with our clients. In this role you are responsible for performing cosmetic and functional QA work on the subject templates that drive our testing process. You will have high levels of interaction with both technical and non-technical personnel in addition to working both independently and in a team environment. You will work closely with Optimost account managers and analysts to deliver solutions to our clients.

Candidates should have the following experience and qualifications:

• 2+ years of web development
• Strong background in client-side programming and a thorough understanding of Web technologies such as HTML, DHTML, CSS, and JavaScript is required
• Experience with XML is a plus.
• Experience in one or more back-end programming languages, such as PHP and ASP is preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills coupled with exceptional organizational skills
• Strong business mind and willingness to think "outside the job description" to support co-workers and offer creative solutions to business challenges
• Passionate about customer perceived quality, rapid development, and continuous improvement through testing
• Bachelors Degree required, CS/Engineering preferred
