Director of Marketing Solutions
Location: New York City or San Francisco Bay Area
We are currently seeking a Director of Marketing Solutions to grow and build our client base. The Director of Marketing Solutions is an outside sales-oriented position, with direct responsibility for signing up new clients and continuing to grow client relationships. The ideal candidate has direct sales experience in an Internet or direct marketing company. Since the product is technology-based, an understanding of how Internet Web sites operate is a definite plus. Sales commission will be a significant part of the compensation package.
Candidates should have the following experience and qualifications:
- 6+ years of direct sales experience in an Internet, enterprise software, or direct marketing company
- A proven track record of success
- Excellent consultative sales skills, particularly the ability to sell over the telephone
- Ability to thoroughly qualify opportunities, identify prospects and understand customer problems/goals.
- A strong familiarity with online marketing, e-commerce, and internet advertising is critical
- A strong understanding of how Internet web sites operate
- Must be able to work both independently and within a team environment
- Bachelors Degree required
